Sasha has been designing and engineering experiences for the last 14 years and was an early adopter of Ruby on Rails in 2005. Since then, they’ve used their skills to create tremendous impact at several companies organized around social justice initiatives.
They helped chart the course at Rally.org, and as CTO, helped Puddle.com grow 200% month over month in 3 months. As security lead for Indiegogo they helped protect a leading crowdfunding platform against security threats. They also helped Countable.org scale to handle 3,000 signups per day after the Women’s March on January 21st and are currently working with Eco.com to build an inclusive platform for global finance and Al Otro Lado to make it easier for asylum-seekers to navigate the U.S. legal system.
They are passionate about unlocking insight through analytics, especially for social change. Sasha excels at analytics, data science, and UI/UX.
Stan designs user experiences that create meaningful impact in people’s lives. He's worked at numerous startups spanning government, labor, finance, and healthcare.
Stan has been devoted to helping New Orleans rebuild from the levee failures of 2005. He co-founded Levees.Org and brought the satirical Levee newspaper online. He has been recognized for his philanthropic work by The New York Times, WDSU Newschannel 6, St. Charles Avenue Magazine, Operation REACH, and Association of Fundraising Professionals.
